There are only so many hours in a day, and
you're inevitably going to have to balance demanding central tasks, like writing,
or presenting, or coding with the more mundane, like clearing
your inbox or recording your time. So it makes sense to allocate the time
when you have the most energy and the hours in which you have the most
energy to the tasks that demand the most for you. So for example, I like to do
kind of housekeeping tasks, again, like clearing my inbox, at the end of the
day when I can kind of go on autopilot and accomplish a lot without
thinking too hard. That leaves the morning when
I'm the most productive for things that I actually need to focus on.
